Interesting... after watching this cartoon, do you think that today we're either more sensitive to the images of warfare and destruction, or was it merely that we were more confident about the righteousness of our cause during WWII?

Combination of both IMHO. But more of the latter.

Though I wasn't around during WWII, I've heard some stories from my father and others of his generation. I believe their accounts far more than I do any documentary because it's been glorified by so many with their own agendas.

I want to see an Iraq war propaganda video with our current day cartoon stars. Like Dora the explorer or something.

Re: Income Tax Propaganda Cartoon
Yeah, I'm thinking the star could be the Cathy. Here's my proposed script:

Tax cuts. Tax cuts. Tax cuts. Spend, spend, spend spend! Go shopping for victory. Buy more gadgets, more fried things, more Chinese-made disposables. Who needs education, health care, or land, when we can have credit cards? Debt for victory! Just remember, every dollar given to military contractors, bankers and Walmart is a dollar. Guns, guns, guns! Shiny guns, loud guns, uranium guns, to blast the aggressors from their shacks. Why do they hate us? Because we are free! Yellow ribbons and lapel pins for Victory!

Shop the mall; Kill 'em all!

Re: Income Tax Propaganda Cartoon
the funny thing about this is that the income tax is and has always been illegal. the tax laws protect against this in a very deceptful way. It all has to do with law definitions ( which are different than dictionary definitions). basically, the income tax laws say the same thing as the constitution, which is: you only have to pay taxes on income made outside of the country. This is hidden in section 681, far separate from the part that says that everyone has to pay it, a phrase that is deceptive due to the definitions of the phrasing, once again, found in section 681. www documentarywire com has numerous documentaries on this subject and how the income tax and federal reserve are frauds. There is one in particular that tells you about section 681 and explains how to defend yourself from the criminal extortionists we call the IRS.
