Léon: Deleted Scene
Luc Besson's original intent with Léon (1994) was more violent and also included a much less ambiguous relationship between Léon and Mathilda. However, Natalie's parents didn't give permission to let their daughter play that part. Consequently, Besson had to rewrite the script, and also remove this scene in particular.

I... don't recall that being any different in the DVD version I have, minus her getting in bed close to him.

I think it was only the (original) American version that left this scene out.
